Ron Paul ‘Slow and Steady’ Strategy has Him Almost Definitely Winning in 2040

Ron Paul may not seem the most obvious candidate to some but, according to the libertarian’s inner circle, Paul’s strategy for obtaining the White House sometime in the next century is nothing less than golden.

The longtime congressman, though lagging behind his conservative counterparts in the Republican primary, sees himself as more of the tortoise than the hare in this race.

“Sure, you can use that analogy,” said one of his aides in response to our comment.  “Or you can look at it like this: Ron Paul is like a cube of vegetable bullion in hot water.  It may take a while to kick in, but once it does–oh sweet victory!”

Dr. Paul has been a permanent fixture in modern politics since the 1970′s and has intermittently run for the nation’s highest office since the 80′s.  His strong stance on limiting the role and powers of government have put him at odds with many in the current two-party system and, ironically, has limited his own role and power in that same government.

“The American people aren’t ready for us right now,” divulged Paul candidly.  “Which is why I’m putting all my money into cryogenics.  That means, when they are ready for us, I can simply come out of science’s frozen womb and save Leah from the evil Jabba–I mean, save Lady Liberty from Big Government.”

At the end of the 2008 Republican primary, Paul captured around 35 delegate votes and this time around, he currently holds 47.  Iron E statisticians safely estimate that Dr. Paul (or his life-proxy) will almost surely win the Republican nomination by 2036 and then the White House by 2040 or 2044.

“We will win eventually,” Paul went on confidently.  “It’s all in the math.”
